The First Event - Manchester

It has been nearly a month since the first Orlune event and I cannot believe time has flown by so quickly. Female founders coming together to celebrate all that they are and having the time to ask questions is at the core of our mission and I was honoured to see it come into fruition.

So, how did it go? Honest opinions!

There were a fair few people who did not show up which I think is crazy when they had paid to be there, I felt really disappointed in the amount of people who didn't let us know they couldn't attend.

However, the girls who came smashed it. They were so supportive not only of me but of each other and I feel like they all rallied around and carried the event with me, which just makes me emotional thinking about it now.

We took the time at each of the girls business making content and filming bits for each other which I have LOVED seeing all over peoples socials and website. We dumped all of our photography into a shared drive so that all the women who attended had access.

The event taught me so much about how Orlune could look and change in the next 5 years and I have the best people with me to do so.

We are now a fully paid for membership where we have access to webinars, full support systems and more events to bring people to.

Our latest meet was our York coffee meet which was AMAZING, we got so much content for each other and it was great to catch up with the girls and find out what is happening in their businesses.

My biggest take away from the first event would be that it is okay to not be perfect and that when you are building a community business model, the people are almost more important than the rest of the face value stuff that you focus so much on.

Thank you to everyone who came, helped, volunteered and posted about the event it really was a truly phenomenal day and I am grateful to be learning more about women in business and how we can grow with every single of one of you.

See you soon,

Hatty
